And 2 years later.....

2 years....gone in the blink of an eye. Well, not really. But it sure does go fast. We now have one in college, one in preschool, and 4 in the grades 2, 5, 7 and 10. Amazing blessings, some heartache, and much business around the Thom home. The changes over the last few years have tugged at my heartstrings and grown me and stretched me in many ways. The Lord has shown me that life really is about change and growth.  The sooner we realize that, accept it and learn to rest in Him and trust in Him and let Him mold us into who He wants us to be in that next season of life, the more at peace we will be. The more we will be able to truly learn and grow closer to Him.
Olivia is now an official Razorback at the University of Arkansas. She is rooming with one of her long time friends from church. I was truly dreading the day we had to drop her off and drive away. I cried a river, but as we drove away, I knew in my heart that she is where is supposed to be, and that the Lord will continue to grow and stretch her as well. She has acclimated to dorm life pretty well and has submersed herself in lots of on campus ministries and seems to have found a church that she loves as well. This coming week is parent's weekend at UArk, so we are heading down to see her! Can't wait! OOOOO Pig Soooie!!!! Go Razorbacks!!
The other 5 have started out the school year well- not too bad of a schedule this fall. Gymnastics, Zoe, and BreakDown St. Louis are among some of our activities that are keeping us busy. And loads of homework of course! It's all good, and we are trying to adjust to the empty spot at the table. :(
Here's a few pics from the past summer and from the start of school.
